Meet the HOST Wanda Wesolowski, a 20-something singer-songwriter originating from the heart of Huntsville, Alabama. Her musical style, characterized as "cool music for cool people," is a fusion of chill vibes, melodic-driven compositions, and astute lyricism, drawing inspiration from 20th-century soft rock. Wanda's lyrics delve deep into the human experience, exploring themes of emotional isolation, loneliness, and the search for identity and purpose. Through introspective songs like "Libby’s Song" and "On The Fence," she invites listeners to reflect on their own journeys and struggles.
Jay Burgess was raised in, on, and by the music of Muscle Shoals - He’s been a “young pup” to many of the Shoals music scene stalwarts for practically his entire adult life, going back to his days as a young guitar slinger and his early songwriting efforts (encouraged by Jason Isbell), all the way through to his creation of the Pollies, the band he’s used as a prism to reflect some of the weirder, prettier strains of his music.
Born and bred in a small northern Louisiana town called Natchitoches, Caleb Elliott was raised on traditional gospel and classical music. While these may not be genres he’s drawn to in adulthood, the remnants of a childhood spent practicing cello & singing church tunes around a piano with his entire family have bled into the musician, and man, he is today. Elliot is a singer, songwriter and cellist currently practicing in the music hotbed of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Equal parts vulnerable and powerful, ebullient and heartbreaking, hopeful and cynical, Olive Klug refuses to be put in a box. Working out who you are in front of an ever-growing audience is no small task, but one the Portland-bred, Nashville-based songwriter is always up for. The singer graduated with a liberal arts degree shortly before the 2020 pandemic derailed their plans of a career in social work. Though they’d self-released 2019 EP “Fire Alarm” from a childhood friend’s bedroom, Olive had always categorized their music as either a hobby or a pipe dream. However, when Olive was laid off of a teaching job in 2020, they decided to commit themselves fully to an ever-growing online community.
